What are those experiences that challenged your preconceived ideas or stereotypes of the African reality? Here is what we’ll need from you when submitting:
One or more photographs (captioned with title, location (city and country) and date when work was created). The photographs should be JPG or PNG files not larger than 10MB. Be sure to keep the original file carefully.
Your written story of not more than 500 words, in a PDF format, duly captioned (with title of story, if different from title of photograph)
Give us enough context around your image and story as a added footnote in your PDF.
A short biography of not more than 300 words. Include your full name, city and country of origin/residence, city and country related to your photograph and written story (if different from country of residence/origin), your social media user IDs (Instagram, Twitter), email, website and telephone number.
All entries must be submitted in English or French. No other language is acceptable at the moment.
The best entry of each month will be showcased on our website and disseminated/promoted across the Invisible Borders/iVisible Project network via our newsletter and social media platforms.
An overall best selected after a 12 month period will win a photography equipment, a paid road trip across a border and a chance to exhibit with Invisible Borders under the iVisible Project.
