Justin Makangara is a self-taught photojournalist based in DRCongo, speaking French, Swahili, English. He is a student of Foundry Photojournalism. Justin tells human stories of everyday life. His work revolves around developing documentary and storytelling in the fields of music, daily life, elections, labor, housing, social peace, festival, children, portraiture and reportages. He tells underreported stories of his community and evolved the motto to tell human stories on the Africa continent. Most of his work impacts social life and is focused on life in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. Justin has worked with several projects like Citizen Voices, a project of the RNW Media, and has also been published in various media outlets including Forbes Africa, Habari DRC and more.
